Funky Chair Love

I found this guy on Flickr.  Titled, “The Mysterious Vintage Chair,” by fetching.  I love the shape and the detached headrest.  Wouldn’t this chair be sweet in a bright, funky fabric!?

    I just bought a chair, very similar to this at an auction last night. Any idea on what year it is? Is there a name for the type of style it is?

      Looks midcentury to me, but like I said, its from flickr, so I’m not sure. Cool find though! Have fun with it!
