Loving Right Now
I have to work on this lovely Saturday, so while I try to fill my time today I am scouring Pinterest. Here are some thing I am loving right now…
As always lately, wedding planning is on my mind, along with rustic home ideas, eclectic living rooms with gorgeous coffee tables, and some organization ideas. Speaking of organization, very soon I will have some projects to show you that deal in that area! 🙂
Living Room Brainstorming
I’ve said it before, we hate our living room couch. We have a small living room, but would like it to work better for us. So, what do we do when a friend is wanting to get rid of an almost new L shaped sectional in cream? Snatch it up!
It looks huge and things are in disarray right now, but it is so comfy, and much more what we were wanting for a more functional room. A sectional seems more modern than our house, but this one combines my love for tufting too! So, now I have been on the hunt for living room inspiration before making any decisions about ours. Enjoy my eclectic collection of musings…
I love the horse photo in this one. And, it’s a sectional.
This one is an L shaped couch and a smaller room like ours.
I love the gray of this couch. They are using a coffee table and the ottoman is separate for more seating. We are considering doing away with our coffee table and using a large tray on the ottoman. Hm?
Not a sectional, but I love a Chesterfield. Always inspiring. lol

I loved the patterned pillows in this living room. I am also digging the idea of the wall mounted lamps. We lack floor space and this might do the trick!

Another gray sectional, and I loved the mix of fun pillows!
Bright colors and a rustic coffee table.
Not exactly our style room, but I love the big coffee table and even the tweed on the couch!
Another room with no sectional, but how pretty!? I love everything about this one.
The next few rustic rooms are for Jeremy 😉
I love the mix in this room. The more subtle antlers, and especially the tufted chair!!
This one has the Chesterfield for me and the antler chandelier for Jeremy!
Any more ideas? Let us know! And soon I will show you progress on our room!
Chair Love of the Week
Isn’t this chair funky? And the color is gorgeous! Actually the whole room is gorgeous!
Ruffle Addiction
Ok, so this little thing I am having with ruffles, it might be more than just the shower curtain. I thought ruffles were “too girly” for my taste, but either my taste changed just a smidge or these things are growing on me. Don’t get me wrong, I would still probably pair them with something black or steel, but I do in fact love me some ruffles. Here is what I have been craving lately:
These ruffle pillows struck me this morning as I was blog browsing. Aren’t they so “sweet meets manly”?
These sandals from Target are calling my name as well.Â
Then there is this wedding dress! What can I say? This is what I have been searching for! Actually, the entire wedding was gorgeous and exactly what we had planned (until deciding to go away!) so check out the link to Grey Likes Weddings to see the entire thing!
So, what do you think? The ruffles are totally funky, right? Thought so.
More Flowers
A few of the seeds we planted in the spring (which I forgot about!) have popped up now! They are tall purple flowers, and oh-so-pretty! They are in the front of our house by the mailbox. Not very exciting out here, but they do brighten the space up a bit.
Â
When I got home last night I was surprised to find flowers and candles on the table and a spaghetti dinner waiting for me! Aw! I had this vintage table cloth (from the engagement party) on the table the other night when we had friends over, so it looks all fresh and summer-y in here!Â
Sweet, huh? And, don’t worry, I do have a few more (and more exciting!) things to show you all this week! I am trying to figure out how to change bitmap pictures into something I am able to upload here. Any ideas? Anyway…stay tuned! 🙂

Chair Love Inspiration
I am in the process of working on a few chair projects for the shop. So, this week’s chair love is a compilation of some funky chair makeover inspiration!Â
“Tie Chair Ala Alabama Chanin,” by smoothepebble. I just love these woven tie chairs, especially the ones with the dangling ends!
“Painted Chair,” by kimhas6cats. So bright!
“Design Sponge Table Chair Redo,” by thirtyeight20. Awesome fabric choice, and, I love love that ghost table!
“Fav Chair,” by k*8. Again, great fabric gives this old chair a new life.
“Repurposed Chairs Make Laundry Bench,” by jgrnly. I have an idea for a bench of chairs, but a bit fancier…
“Chair Project 1, ” by Le Silly. Collage on a chair can be really funky and unique.
Well, for now I hope this gives everyone some inspiration… I definitely have my wheels turning!
Funky Chair Love
I loved this picture when I saw it. I’m not sure why, but I did. I wouldn’t want a chair (seat) like this in my house exactly, but still, it’s charming!

“Funky Chairs at the Surf Shack,” by Dharma Communications. Simply funky.
